Marriage is the most beautiful experience that every individual wants to feel and celebrate their first marriage in great sense. But how will you feel when your first marriage breaks after some time by getting divorced. Getting divorced from your first marriage can be very heart breaking because facing society, always having the pain of first marriage fail.In India, having second marriage can be very difficult. The main reason behind this is the orthodox thinking of the people. People in rural areas feel that remarriage is not in our culture, especially people from north India. Indian second marriage does not take place. According, to the Indian marriage act if the person’s wife or husband is alive then second marriage is not allowed. It is described as the crime against wife or husband.
In Hindu religion, remarriage can be possible if person got divorced. But if the spouse is dead, the remarriage for women in considered. Many orthodox people think that women is not eligible for any men and let her to be widowed for her whole life. This is not for men’s as they are allowed to remarry for the second time, whether he is divorced or his wife is dead. This largely happens in the northern part of country.
In India, it is considered that if both the male and female don’t have children with their first marriage and got divorced or any one from the wife or husband is dead then to carry on the legacy they are made to remarry to have children, especially boy.
In India, it all depends on the family decision and whether they want their girl or boy need to have second marriage. Some allow of having second marriage but some not. The main problem for female in India after getting divorced makes her very difficult to live. In Indian society, people with orthodox thinking doesn’t allow divorced girl to live peaceful. They constantly keep on nagging her about past marriage failure. They keep making statement about the marriage failure. If the bride’s husband dies they think that she is not lucky for any men and keep her widowed for whole life.
But as the trend is changing and people do not follow orthodox thinking. There are many women and men who got divorced with their first marriage do go for the remarriage. Now a day, in India there are many who marry with other women even if they already leaving with their first wife. Now it has become a fashion of keeping more than one wife, as they feel that they get more satisfaction and also go for some more relaxation.
Having second divorce marriage is easy but to carry on with it for whole is not an easy job. Whatever, may be the reason behind your first marriage failure, you should try to work on it in your second marriage. These can help you to leave a good second marriage. Also it is important to make your children ready for new member in their life.
